A cousin of P. procera below, found almost exclusively in wet lands. it's smaller in all regards, and has purple flowers, albeit the shape of the flowers and leaves are identical, in maturity it rarely gets to be a quarter the size of it's forest lands cousin P. procera. Significant numbers have inquired about its availability, hence we've produced it; Harvesting this is considerably more labor intensive than our other Pedicularis offering, hence the higher price.
Herb harvested June/July 2008.
